ABOUT

I am currently a graduate student in the Wireless Networking and Communication Group at the University of Texas. My research advisor is Dr. Robert W. Heath Jr. I am currently researching millimeter wave (mmWave) networks and other 5G technologies. Specifically, I am analyzing system and network design of mmWave ad hoc networks using stochastic geometry. I received the M.S. from UT in May 2014, and I am currently working towards the Ph.D. My full CV is available here.

Graduate Research Intern

Visiting research intern at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology working with Dr. Matthew Mckay. I investigated how to implement MMSE filters with imperfect covariance knowledge in ad hoc networks.

I enjoy photography and the outdoors when I can. Although I've since sold my DSLR, I use a Sony RX-100 to still take photos. A small subset of photos are available here.

I like to tinker with electronics and build small devices when I can. This website is currently hosted on a Raspberry Pi. I also use it to host an email server and a Dropbox clone.

I DM a weekly Dungeons & Dragons session with some of my fellow graduate students.
